Fundraising and grants

Brighton Yoga Festival, as a registered charity, raises money to support causes that are aligned to our charitable aims of promoting the health, social and personal benefits of yoga.We do this by giving small grants. Last year the festival provided funding for Clocktower Sanctuary’s Yoga for Young Homeless, a programme of classes for young homeless people in Brighton. This year we are particularly interested in supporting projects that, like Yoga for Homeless People, take yoga to communities that might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience its beneficial effects. This type of grant-making continues the work of the one-day festival in making yoga accessible to all, throughout the year.We welcome proposals from individuals and organisations who would like the Brighton Yoga Festival’s support in undertaking this kind of work. In the first instance, please contact using the form on this page, giving a brief outline of the proposed project. We will be posting our grant-making policy and guidelines here in due course.
